Sam Martin knows why now to question everything, after eight missing field
goals in five games, Detroit Lions try candidate 3 on Tuesday. But the
boatman/frame/second grade, experts say, he did not believe that what's the problem
in advance/hold operation and long-time, he and senior snapper Don Muhlbach.
"So far, no miss, because it is over," Martin said. "I think the
operation has a beautiful voice, really. But even so, I don't think I'm a perfect
holder or perfect start guy or perfect the boatman.
"So I'm always trying to improve. If
the hold is not perfect, I notice that I want to correct the bad gondola and a
bad start. I don't think I'm perfect in any area." Coach Jim Caldwell said
the lion also does not have too many questions, Martin's holdings, haven't
thought about change, but in fact, he did not need. "Sam. Sam's hands of a
good thing and evaluate each week," the lion coach Jim Caldwell said.
"This is looked at closely snapper between cells, play the holder, so all
watched closely.
"We are trying to assess, if we see
the problem we don't punches can be a problem. Of course we identify it and
solve it. I think he is very good." Martin said that if he played in the
game so far he has not asked to do so, the backups of four points Dan Orlovsky
holder. Martin also said other players, including starting quarterback Matthew
Stafford, sometimes work of emergency. Martin also said that he never debugging
holder while playing football.
